Mischief celebrates, encourages, and promotes enthusiasm for pop culture and fandom. For more than fifteen years, we have been producing events and media that speak to the vibrant and passionate fan communities in and around pop culture and entertainment. By embracing the energy within these communities, we can create a more exciting world together.

Work From Home any time
Mischief has returned to an office but has always been a hybrid company, with leadership in various areas of the U.S. The New York City office is an available but ultimately optional tool with hot desks and amenities. Anyone may work at home at any time.

With an enforced 10-day minimum (begins on your first day at Mischief)

Encouraged Four-Day Work Week
As primarily an event company, there will always be some peak periods, which is why we encourage a four-day schedule whenever possible. We don’t schedule any internal meetings (and do our best to avoid scheduling external ones) on Fridays, and encourage you to use that day however you like. 

Flexible Scheduling for Work/Life Balance
We do not believe you need permission to pause work to see to life’s demands. If you have to take care of a loved one, see to your mental or physical health, take a child to school, get your car repaired, etc., just do it. We trust you as a professional to see to your responsibilities and be accountable to other team members and supervisors in whatever way works best for your health and lifestyle.

Computer Hardware Allowance
Team members may be reimbursed up to $1,500 for the purchase of a computer and other hardware.

Work From Home Allowance
Team members who do not work in the New York City metropolitan area (and who are therefore unable to work from our physical office) are eligible for a work-from-home allowance to improve their home office.

Training and Professional Development
All full-time team members participate in J.E.D.I. (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion) courses, and have access to an additional training catalog that offers free professional development throughout the year.

401K with Company matching options

Medical, vision, dental benefits begin immediately.
