Events Project Manager
Mischief Management is looking to hire a Events Project Manager with a passion for pop culture and event management.
As a successful hire, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to help manage and execute workflow across departments. The position will be focused on our growing event management portfolio, including our original events as well as those we produce for clients and partners. This includes overseeing all aspects of an event from initial development through post-event evaluations.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience in project management and development

Expertise in Monday.com, or transferable skills with other team software

Experience with Airtable a must; expertise a plus

Proven experience working with clients and partners

Experience managing a cross-functional team

Previous experience in events a plus

Ability to think creatively while maintaining a strong attention to detail and logistics

Strong interpersonal communication skills, especially over written communications

Strong problem-solving abilities

Skilled in Google Apps Suite

Experience with AllSeated, SocialTables, and ticketing systems a plus
-
Ability to travel on some weekends for site visits, events, etc.

Passion for pop-culture/entertainment a plus
Responsibilities
-
Build and manage interdepartmental timelines and coordinate projects across departments to ensure deadlines are met
-
Develop and execute all logistical elements of an event or interactive experience, including:
-
Overseeing venue and hotel search, selection, and negotiation
-
Managing ticket registration systems for events
-
Ensuring logistics are in place for audio/visual, food and beverage, security, EMS, staffing, and related event contractors
-
Overseeing all aspects of procurement, including signage, merchandise and event swag, and other event collateral
-
Handling all aspects of the event supply chain, ensuring that every department has the appropriate materials and resources needed on-site

Negotiating contracts with vendors and other external partners

Serving as point of contact for hotels, including coordinating accommodations for staff, tracking attendee room sales, and arranging amenities for talent and/or sponsored rooms

Execute sponsorship activations

Create weekly reports to track KPIs

Work seamlessly and communicate clearly to ensure successful completion of cross-departmental projects

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff; work successfully with partners and contractors.

Perform other duties as assigned and agreed upon
Compensation
This is a full-time remote position based in the United States. Compensation begins at $55,000. We are looking for individuals available immediately and are open to applicants who live anywhere in the country.
